Burials at sea have been a tradition for millennia. As a final resting place, the peace and tranquiity of the sea imparts a lasting comfort on the departed's loved ones. The captain and crew understand the sensitive nature of this service and will take special care in bringing your loved one to rest in the beauty and majesty of the Atlantic Ocean. Friends and family members are welcome to assist in the ceremony. The captain will then respectfully commit your loved one's remains to the sea with all the grace, dignity and respect they deserve.
Memorial services are respectifully arranged. Deceased loved ones are honored and remembered according to each family's values, customs and traditions.
After funeral repasts aboard our vessel are a serene and dignified alternative to a restaurant luncheon. Family members can reflect and remember the deceased while viewing nature and the beautiful seascapes of the South Shore of Long Island.

begin aboard our 72’ yacht - The Miss Freeport V. Upon leaving
our home port, we gently cruise in calm sheltered waters. Cruises can be customized as to length/time, choice of catering and refreshments, flowers, memorial arrangements and bagpipers.
